We made camp at the Casa de Fruita. It is a fruit stand, near Gilroy, with everything from candy, nuts, fruits, and vegetables to pomegranate wine.
It has a good restaurant and small amusement park and camping. And peacocks everywhere.
Something for everyone.

Monterey
The weather was perfect and the food was delicious. Rudy had Lazy Man's Cioppino and I had a crab sandwich on french bread.
