We made a quick trip to Solvang. We made our home-base at Flying Flags RV Park in Buellton. It is a great place to stay. You were greeted by nice people and given a warm cookie. The park is very clean and quite and offers free DVD rentals.  From there we went to Solvang, a fun Scandinavian town,  Santa Barbara, where we found the largest Fig tree and the first and last Sambos Restaurant, Santa Maria and Lompoc.
